Since 2006, Jason has been employed as an Adjunct Professor of Music History & Literature in the Music Department, Montgomery College, Rockville, and at the Art Institute of Washington in Arlington, VA. He has also taught at Montgomery College, Takoma Park. Currently, Jason is teaching courses on the History of American Popular Music and Advanced Music Theory. He has previously taught Intro to Music Theory and the History of Jazz, both at the college level, and has worked a music director/composer/arranger/pianist for youth theater camps. He began his teaching career as a teaching assistant for the "History of Rock" class under Dr. Richard King at the University of Maryland, College Park.
